Safer Chauffeur Travel During Covid-19

As the leading chauffeur service company in the UK, we take our customers health and safety seriously. Which is why we’ve recently taken the unprecedented steps in introducing a range of preventive and precautionary measures to ensure a safer journey during Covid-19. Unlike crowded buses, trains or trams, our fleet can allow for extensive social distancing from the driver to the passenger to ensure everyone is safe. For example hiring our executive Mercedes MPV V Class ideal for up to 16 passengers, is spacious and comfortable for all manner of journeys.

Furthermore we provide other safety measures too such as surgical masks, antibacterial hand gel and protective screen partitions between the driver and passenger as a preventative measure between the driver and passenger. Our chauffeurs will ensure they follow correct safety procedures for clients and themselves by following government guidelines to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Our new procedures include:

Vehicle Hygieneinterior vehicle cleaning

  • Protective safety interior partition screens have been installed in all vehicles. This will ensure passengers and drivers have an adequate barrier, to prevent the potential spread of germs and viruses
  • All vehicles are fully sanitised and decontaminated before and after every transfer with antibacterial cleaning products. Thereby destroying bacteria, germs, viruses and spores
  • All interior touch points are cleaned with Antibacterial wipes before and after each journey
  • Antibacterial hand gel is easily accessible in all of our vehicles for client’s use during their journey
  • Complementary newspapers, mints and iPads are removed from vehicles during the Coronavirus Pandemic; to reduce the potential spread of germs and viruses

Greeting Procedures

  • Chauffeurs are not permitted to shake client’s hands before or after travel, to avoid the risks of Coronavirus

During Your Journey

  • Clients are provided with disposable quality surgical face masks for use during the journey and to keep thereafter;
  • You can still bring luggage or shopping, which will still be loaded and unloaded by chauffeurs. However chauffeurs will socially distance to allow clients to drop off luggage or shopping before their journey and to collect luggage or shopping after it’s been unloaded by your chauffeur

Chauffeur Safety Precautions

  • Drivers are not allowed to work if they feel unwell, regardless of their illness type, to ensure client’s safety as a priority
  • Chauffeurs are instructed to wear face masks at all times during their encounters with clients
  • Chauffeurs are also instructed to use antibacterial hand gel prior to client collection, during and afterwards as a precaution
